Summer kitchens were commonly found in old homes, used to eliminate the heat of the hot stove from the main house during hot summer days. True to its name, this first-floor room now stands where the old summer kitchen of our home once was; rest assured, this area now offers the relaxing comfort and well-appointed décor that is reminiscent of elegant bedrooms, not kitchens, of the 1800's.
